Your memories here

I would love to have a thread where anyone can post a memory of theirs with Ciarra.  Here is the place.  Feel free to comment as long or as short as you would like.  I look forward to reading the memories from the many people that she touched in her life.

This picture was taken when my family was visiting from the USA.  it was at the Hort or Ciarra’s after school program and the picture was taken by one of her teachers.  It was the last day that she was a part of this Hort as she “Graduated” on this day.

About Dusty

I am the father of Ciarra Joi "CJ" Rhodes. I am the man blessed to have 13 and a half years with my beautiful daughter. I am also the survivor of her teenage suicide. I miss her every minute of every day! I hope this site will keep her memory alive and maybe help others.

I remember this day we had so much fun! I was just looking at all of those pictures that we took that day. I know I didn’t get to see her all the time like other people did but I miss her so much! I miss face timing with her and making jokes about her fixing her hair all the time while she was talking and her random what’s app messages she would send me. I love you and miss you Ciarra!

She was playing and having fun that day…just being a kid! Highlight was the water balloons!
I remember the times she called and sang Happy Birthday to me.
We were separated by miles but not by love.
Many memories of her as a happy baby to the caring and loving young lady she became.
I will always love you and miss you Ciarra

It’s hard to know just what to say,
When one so young is taken away.
Far too soon she had to part,
Her memory forever engraved in our heart.

We only knew her for a short while,
But the life she led made us smile.
She was so beautiful and oh so rare,
Life as they say just isn’t fair.

Those gone before her will watch her with care,
Till the day comes when we’ll all join her there.

Know Ciarra is watching from heaven above,
And with each ray of sunshine, she’s sending her love.

    • Wow this was a great post. Thank you !!!!

I loved it when you gave me that extra batting lesson on the mad moles-field. We picked up Ciarra at her school, went to field, she made videos of me hitting, collecting the balls, hitting herself (of course we took a film of her as well), she pitching to you …
It was a sunny day – we had fun, she was smiling, you were smiling, I was smiling. It was a great day. I am happy I had those moments with you both
